Want your tree to stand out this year? Signup for this workshop and learn how to make custom origami ornaments. This course also covers step by step instructions on building a basic sonobe module, a few variations, as well as assembling 6 unit and 12 unit models using the sonobe unit.
Instructor | Artist Bio: Lily Wu
I have been an origami hobbyist for 8 years and am especially drawn to modular origami and origami tessellations because of their straight lines, sharp edges, and flat planes. I majored in Studio Art at UCI and during my time there I experimented with applying origami folding techniques to canvas and “conventional” painting creation processes. Link to artists portfolio >>
Currently, I am a graduate student at UCLA working towards a Masters in Library and Informations Science as well as working part time at the Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center as an assistant preparator.
